The idea is to make a tribute feel real. Typically the finsub meets the findomme in a café or a shopping street, hands over an agreed amount, perhaps pays for something she picks, and leaves. Many are short and entirely non-sexual.

Meeting a stranger in person carries risks that online findom doesn’t. For the Domme: being followed, a sub who won’t take no for an answer, someone learning where she lives. For the sub: being robbed, set up or recognised. Cash also leaves no record if something goes wrong.

Anyone who insists on meeting before any online history, wants a private location, or asks for large amounts of cash should be treated as a red flag.
