Privacy Policy

Last updated October 28, 2026

We collect what we need to run the service and prevent fraud and abuse. Findomination is free, so we hold no card or payout details. We never sell your data.

Who we are

Findomination is responsible for your personal data. Contact us about privacy at hello@findomination.com.

What we collect

  • Account: email address, display name, handle, date of birth, country and gender. There are no passwords: you sign in with a link sent to your email, or with Google.
  • Profile and content: photos, bio, offers, links, contact details and limits you choose to add.
  • Messages and requests: private messages, requests, deliveries and their status.
  • Device and security: IP address, device identifiers and browser details, used to spot linked accounts and fraud.
  • Usage: pages visited, actions taken and error logs, used to run and fix the service.
  • Support: emails and reports you send us.

Findomination is free, so we don’t collect card, bank or payout details.

Why we use it

  • To provide the service: your account, profile, messages and requests (our contract with you).
  • To keep the service adults only, using the date of birth you give at sign-up (legal obligation and safety).
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, including checking whether accounts share devices or emails (legitimate interest and legal obligation).
  • To review reports, moderate content and enforce our terms (legitimate interest).
  • To send account and service emails. We’ll ask before sending marketing.

How long we keep it

  • Records of past payments from before Findomination became free: as long as tax and financial law requires.
  • Account, profile and messages: while your account is open. When you delete your account it is hidden at once and removed 30 days later (you can restore it until then), except what we must keep for legal claims, fraud prevention or the law.
  • Device and security data: as long as needed to prevent fraud on the account, then deleted.

Who we share it with

  • Service providers that host and run the platform for us, under contracts that limit what they can do with your data.
  • Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies, to measure how the site is used (see Cookies below).
  • Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect someone at risk, such as a suspected minor.
  • Other users see only what you put on your profile and send them, including any contact details you choose to share. Your date of birth is never shown.

We never sell your personal data. If you share contact details or move a conversation to another platform, what happens there is covered by that platform’s own terms and privacy policy, not ours.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or download your data, and object to or restrict how we use it. Email hello@findomination.com from your account’s email address. We may need to confirm it’s you. Some data may have to be kept even after a deletion request, where the law requires it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, and hide your online status, leave Browse, stop new messages and turn off read receipts.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Staff access is limited and logged. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we’ll tell you as the law requires.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, keep the site secure and remember your settings. These are always on.

Your browser also remembers, for up to 90 days, how you first found us: the first page you opened, the website that sent you (its name only, not the full address), any campaign tag in the link and the invite code you used. If you create an account, this is saved with it so we can see which places bring members. It never leaves Findomination and is deleted with your account.

We also count page views ourselves, without cookies and without storing anything in your browser: the page (without anything after the “?”), the name of the website that sent you, any campaign tag, your device type (phone, tablet or computer) and your time zone. To count unique visitors we keep a one-way code made from your IP address, browser and the date, which changes every day and is deleted after two days. We only keep daily totals, never who you are, and this data stays with Findomination in the EU.

With your permission, we also use Google Analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages and steps work, for example how many people finish sign-up. We only turn them on if you click Accept in the cookie banner. Google Analytics gets the page address (without anything after the “?”) and the steps you take, never your name, email, handle, messages or account id. Advertising features are off. Google Ireland Ltd processes this data for us, and some of it may be processed in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. You can change your answer at any time: .

International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than yours. Where that happens, we use safeguards the law requires. Your account data and uploads are stored in the EU (Google Cloud / Firebase, EU region). Where a service provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
