Why findom voice notes work so well
Findom voice notes feel personal in a way text can’t. Tone, pace and a small laugh carry more of your persona than a paragraph ever could. For a Sub, hearing his name in your voice is often the moment the dynamic starts to feel real.
They also suit privacy-minded Dommes. You can be completely faceless and still feel present. And because they take only a minute to record, they’re one of the best ways to reward a regular without spending hours chatting.
On Findomination, voice notes are one of the free requests a Sub can send: he asks, you decide whether and how to answer. Everything stays non-explicit, and you set the tone.
Scripts: greetings and praise
Keep these short: ten to twenty seconds is plenty. Use them as written or change the words to suit your persona.
- “Good morning. I’m having my coffee and thinking about how you’ll make today useful. Check in with me at lunch.”
- “Hello, you. I saw your message. Polite, as it should be. Keep that up and you’ll hear from me again.”
- “Rise and shine. Your task today is simple: be good, and tell me about it tonight.”
- “It’s Monday. New week, same rules. I expect your first check-in by noon.”
- “Morning. Drink some water, eat something proper, and don’t forget who you’re doing it for.”
- “I’m only saying this once: good morning. Make it worth my effort.”
Praise is the most underrated tool in findom. A Sub who feels noticed stays.
- “That was thoughtful. I noticed, and I don’t notice everything.”
- “You did exactly what I asked, on time. Good. That’s why you’re one of my regulars.”
- “I wanted you to hear this in my voice: thank you. Now don’t let it go to your head.”
- “You’ve been consistent all week. That’s rare. I like rare.”
- “The playlist was better than I expected. You’re allowed to be a little proud.”
- “Every time you check in on time, you make my day a bit easier. Keep it up.”
Scripts: setting tasks
Voice makes a task feel more official. Be clear about what, when and how he reports back. For more ideas, see our list of findom task ideas.
- “Here’s your task: three check-ins today. Morning, lunch, evening. Short messages, full sentences.”
- “Tonight you’re writing me five sentences about why you chose me. Send them before you sleep.”
- “No scrolling after ten tonight. Put the phone down, and tell me in the morning that you did.”
- “Pick tomorrow’s outfit from the two I sent. Explain your choice. I’ll decide if you’re right.”
- “Take a walk at lunch. Send me a photo of the sky. Nothing else in it.”
- “Write me a list of ten compliments, none about how I look. You have until Sunday.”
Scripts: check-ins and goodnights
Check-ins build routine, and routine builds regulars. They’re also a natural moment for gentle care.
- “Evening check-in. Tell me one thing you did well today and one thing you’ll do better tomorrow.”
- “I haven’t heard from you today. Everything all right? A short reply is fine.”
- “Goodnight. Sleep properly. I want you sharp tomorrow.”
- “Weekend’s here. Do something nice for yourself, then tell me about it.”
- “You seemed tired today. Rest. The rules will still be here in the morning.”
That last one matters. A Domme who notices when her Sub needs a break is the kind men stay with. Read more in our guide to findom aftercare.
More voice note ideas
Scripts are a start. These formats give you even more to work with:
- A welcome note for new Subs who follow your approach rule: your name, your rules and what happens next, in under thirty seconds.
- Reading your rules aloud. Hearing them in your voice makes them feel real.
- A weekly roundup for regulars: who was good, what’s coming next week, one task for Monday.
- A birthday or milestone message when a Sub mentions one, kept short and warm.
- A “choose for me” note where you list two options (outfits, films, dinners) and he answers by text.
- A pause note when you’re taking a few days off, so nobody worries or chases.
Rotating formats keeps voice notes from becoming routine, which keeps them special. Save your favourite takes in a private folder too; a good welcome note can be reused for every new Sub who follows your rules.
How to record voice notes that sound good
- Find a quiet room. Soft furnishings (curtains, a bed, a sofa) reduce echo. Bathrooms and kitchens echo.
- Hold the phone a hand’s width away, slightly to the side of your mouth, to avoid breathy pops.
- Smile while you speak if your persona is warm. It changes your tone, even on audio.
- Slow down. Nerves speed people up. Calm pace sounds confident.
- Leave small pauses. Silence after a sentence gives it weight.
- Keep a few scripts written down, so you’re never thinking on the spot.
- Re-record without guilt. Three takes is normal.
- Stay in character, stay non-explicit. The tone is confident and teasing, never sexual.
Voice note privacy
Your voice is part of your identity, so a few simple habits keep voice notes safe:
- Listen for background sounds before sending: names called from another room, a TV, an announcement, a pet everyone in your life knows.
- Never say anything real: no real name, no street, no workplace, no plans that reveal where you’ll be.
- Use a slightly different “persona voice” if you want extra distance, such as a little lower, a little slower.
- Don’t reuse audio from anything you’ve posted under your own name.
- Send through the platform, not your personal messaging apps tied to your phone number.

How often to send them
Voice notes feel special because they’re not constant. Many Dommes keep them for regulars, for finished tasks or for a weekly check-in. A beginner might send one with a first welcome to show she’s real, then make further ones something a Sub earns or asks for.
If you’d like Subs to be able to ask you for voice notes, you can join Findomination free as a Domme. Requests are free on both sides, you choose any name, and your face stays optional.
