Tithe

A tithe is a tribute that repeats: a set amount a finsub gives his findomme on a schedule both of them agreed, like every week or every month.

Tithe: A regular tribute on an agreed schedule, such as weekly or monthly.

Where the word comes from

Historically a tithe was a fixed share of what someone earned, given to a church or a lord. Findom borrows the idea of a regular, dependable offering. Where a tribute is a single gift, a tithe is a ritual: something the finsub does again and again as part of the dynamic.

For many subs the routine is the appeal. Knowing a tithe is due and choosing to honour it is a way of keeping the connection alive between conversations.

Agreeing a tithe

A good tithe is agreed openly before it starts: how much, how often, and what (if anything) comes with it, such as a weekly check-in or a short message from her. It should be a small enough share of spare money that missing it would never cause a problem.

A tithe is a promise, not a contract. Either side can change it or end it at any time, for any reason. If your circumstances change, say so; a respectful findomme adjusts.

Tithes and Findomination

Findomination is free and never handles money, so it doesn’t run tithes. A Domme says in her bio and chats where she takes tributes, and the two of you agree the schedule in a private chat. Either of you can change or stop it at any time.

Many Dommes offer daily check-ins and good-morning messages, which pair naturally with a weekly or monthly tithe.

Keeping it healthy

Look at your tithe once a month and ask whether it still feels good. If it has started to feel like a bill rather than a gift, lower it or stop it. Findom works when both people are enjoying it.
